Pre-Approval

If you are considering buying a home, one of your very first steps should be to speak with a trustworthy lender.  (We can provide you with a list of lenders who have served our clients well over the years!)  A brief conversation with a lender will help you to know how much home you will be able to afford, and what you might need to do in order to better position yourself to purchase the type of home you are interested in.  This initial assessment will guide us as we begin your home search.

As we start actively looking at properties, you will want to have a more detailed conversation with the lender, where you will provide them with documentation supporting your income, assets and outstanding debts. With this information, the lender will provide you with a written pre-approval.  This document will tell sellers that you are a serious, well qualified buyer.

As you navigate the lending process, your agent and lender will work very closely with each other, to ensure that if changes arise in the lending guidelines, or in your personal situation, we make sure we are still tailoring your search to not only fit your wants and needs, but also sticks firmly within your home purchase budget.
