When a buyer first comes to us, they almost always tell us what type/size/style of home they are looking for, followed by a price range. That price range might be $250K-$500K, or $400K-$600K or something similar. We encourage buyers to forget about the purchase price, and focus more on the total annual cost, once you factor in interest rates, property taxes, homeowners association fees, maintenance, etc...
